Whitehall Group Brexit Debate Part III – ‘Assessing where next for Brexit’. Wednesday, 29th May, 2019
This senior industry evening event on Wednesday, 29th May entitled ‘Where next for Brexit?’ will be a debate followed by a dinner for approximately 40 members and their guests under the Chatham House Rule. The high profile mix of attendees will include those from the diplomatic corporations, finance and banking sectors. A 6.30pm discussion will be followed by dinner. Confirmed speakers so far include Rt. Hon. Stephen Kinnock MP; Irish Government Brexit Spokesman, Senator Neale Richmond , Dr. Charles Tannock MEP and George Freeman MP. The evening will be chaired by British Journalist and News Editor, Gavin Hewitt.
The Whitehall Group is a Forum of the Cambridge University Land Society, the oldest and largest departmental alumni society in the University whose membership, limited in numbers, covers a broad spectrum of Cambridge alumni but in particular those who have studied Land Economy at Cambridge. It is a unique Policy Discussion Group and meets for business style lunches and dinners about 25 times a year in central London. Events are strictly timed and numbers attending is restricted to between 16 and 22 members and their guest. The Whitehall Group also arranges the distinguished Whitehall Lectures Series and produces Occasional Policy Discussion Papers.
