‘What is next for the property industry in South Africa?’ – 6th December 2016
A joint seminar by ULI and the South African Chamber of Commerce
South Africa continues to play a leading role in Africa as one of its largest economies and influencers, particularly within the financial and investment sectors. The property industry plays an important part in the success of this sector and has attracted global accolades and investors. At the same time, South African property investors have made a firm footprint on various global property markets, with a strong presence in the UK and Central & Eastern Europe.
In the context of this global expansion and the growing appeal of Sub-Saharan Africa property to global investors, this seminar will aim to explore the future of the South African property industry and ‘what is next for the property industry in South Africa’.
We are honoured to have Professor Francois Viruly of the UCT/Nedbank Urban Real Estate Research Unit as the keynote speaker at the event. Professor Viruly is a leading property economist and a key figure within the South African property industry, highly respected both at home and abroad.
