CULS University Challenge – Results of Final

Fitzwilliam/Corpus Christi (Ian Marcus, Emma Fletcher, Paul Munro-Faure & Richard Morton) were convincing winners of the final of the inaugural CULS virtual University Challenge. They beat a combined team of Porterhouse, Peterhouse, Pembroke and Queens (Jeremy Newsum, Roddy Houston, Andrew Fox & Lauren Fendick) “3 P’s & a Q” by a score of 250 points to 145 points. Congratulations to the champions who prevailed over three rounds in the last seven weeks.

We were delighted to have several spectators for the final, including Professor Derek Nicholls from the Department who is also a member of Fitzwilliam College and who was very proud of his team and the intellectual rigour they displayed.

The Competition is going into a long summer hibernation, but there were calls in the after match drinks for a rerun next year. Watch this space.
