The third quarter-final of the CULS University Challenge 2021 took place on the evening of Monday, 22 February. The contest saw last year’s beaten finalists Peterhouse and Pembroke taking on a team from Murray Edwards, whom they happened to beat in the same round in 2020 with a record score of 315 points. Revenge was sweet for Murray Edwards who turned the tables completely and in turn recorded a record score of 340 points to Peterhouse and Pembroke’s tally of 140 points. This surpassed the record winning score in the second quarter-final of 2021. Either the questions are getting easier or the contestants are getting brainier. Tune in for the final quarter-final between a combined team from Wolfson, Trinity Hall and St John’s against Trinity College on Monday, 8 March at 6 PM.
