The men and women’s teams from Cambridge University Rugby Union Football Club will be taking to the pitch against Oxford University Rugby Football Club at the StoneX Stadium on Saturday 8 March. The 2024 version of the Battle of the Blues saw both Cambridge win both the men’s and women’s matches, with a record victory in the men’s match. The matches are a great day out for students, staff and alumni to come together to cheer on and celebrate Cambridge. Gates will open at 11am, with a full day of entertainment for both children and adults planned around the two matches. KO is at 12noon for the women’s match and 3pm for the men’s match. The Olympic Bar will also remain open until 9pm this year. There’s a great turnout from alumni as well as current students each year so if you’d like to come along to support the Light Blues, you can secure your tickets at https://www.thevarsitymatches.com.
