CULS was very pleased to be invited by the Cambridge University Real Estate Finance and Investment Society to provide the prizes for their Case Competition 2017, and to be involved as part of the judging panel. The final was played out in Trinity Hall on Wednesday 8th March and four finalist teams presented their response to a task set by Savills involving the selection of one of four UK real estate investments to best meet a 10 year investment strategy. The quality of the presentations was first-class, and the winning team of four land economists were Gabriele Ejikeme, Patricia Rus, Christy Kwan, Seung Jun Oh who are shown in the attached photograph with Dominic Reilly and Lizzie Cullum of Savills. They each received a prize of £200 donated by the society, whilst the runners-up Daniel Toh, Marius Harnischfeger, Katrina Chu and Philip Wilkinson each received £50.
The Society was delighted to support this initiative and the undergraduates who participated, all of whom are to be congratulated.
