Property: The Times They Are a Changing. Ever evolving, the pace of change in the UK property market is accelerating. Covid is changing the way we live and work with profound consequences for all sectors of the property market. At the same time, the fiscal landscape has changed beyond recognition, Brexit continues to reverberate and volatile economic signals make business planning and forecasting ever more complex and challenging. We will be asking industry leaders from across the market to share their perspectives on current trends and their predictions for 2022 and beyond.

Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in the UK and international property market. Previous roles include: Partner and Head of Global Research & Consulting at Knight Frank, Director of Property Strategy & Research at Henderson Global Investors and Senior Managing Director at US Company Grubb & Ellis where he was responsible for global advisory and transaction services. An independent consultant for the past 12 years, Steve is currently a Director of Milton Keynes Development Partnership with responsibility for Property & Projects and sits on the Board of Governors at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a member of the Expert Reference Group for the NHS Long Term Plan. Steve graduated in Geography from Cambridge in 1987

Nick Knight – Executive Director, CBRE Valuation and Advisory Services
Nick is Head of the UK Valuation and Advisory department in UK & Ireland and is responsible for the day to day running of a team of over 350 valuation professionals. He has over 25 years of experience in valuation . Nick has extensive experience providing advice on all UK sectors to a very broad range of clients in the UK REIT sector, UK Fund Managers, Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth and lenders into the UK market.
Nick sits on the UK Executive and Strategy Boards and is a member of the of the RICS Secured Lending Committee and the Cross Industry Commercial Valuation Forum, helping to drive standards across the industry.
Deepa Devani – Senior Director, Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments)
Deepa Devani is a Senior Director at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). Her responsibilities include building and managing the UK and European real estate portfolio, establishing strategic partnerships and identifying thematic investing opportunities. Previously, Deepa was Vice President at GIC Real Estate where her experience included investment management across various asset classes in the Europe. A professional member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), Deepa also holds an MA in Economics and Management Studies from Cambridge University.
Stephen Morita – Director, Eastdil Secured
Dan Nicholson – Executive Director, Great Portland Estates
Dan is an Executive Director at Great Portland Estates plc, where he started in September 2021. He had previously spent over 10 years with Tishman Speyer, for the majority of which he ran their UK business. Dan started his career as a surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton before gaining broad property investment, development and asset management experience in a number of organisations, including at City & West End Property Group, Quintain Estates & Development and real estate private equity firm, Three Delta LLP.
