Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in the UK and international property market. Previous roles include: Partner and Head of Global Research & Consulting at Knight Frank, Director of Property Strategy & Research at Henderson Global Investors and Senior Managing Director at US Company Grubb & Ellis where he was responsible for global advisory and transaction services. An independent consultant for the past 12 years, Steve is currently a Director of Milton Keynes Development Partnership with responsibility for Property & Projects and sits on the Board of Governors at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a member of the Expert Reference Group for the NHS Long Term Plan. Steve graduated in Geography from Cambridge in 1987

Michael Brodtman – Chairman UK CBRE Ltd
Michael joined CBRE’s investment team in 1981, advising institutions and property companies, with a particular focus on tax based investment and development advice.
Michael ran the Valuation department between 1999 and 2018, helping it to grow to a leading position amongst the owners and lenders to UK real estate. He particularly sponsored the growth of services to the UK institutions and REITs, and the development of specialist teams focused on emerging property sectors both in the UK and internationally.
Michael has had a wide range of Non-Executive roles. He has been a member of the Policy Committee of the British Property Federation, the Bank of England’s Commercial Property Forum, the RICS Global Valuation Board.
Madeleine Cosgrave – Regional Head Europe, GIC RE
Madeleine Cosgrave is Region Head, Europe, Real Estate, GIC. Based in London she is responsible for GIC’s investment strategy and real estate portfolio in Europe. GIC is Singapore’s Sovereign Wealth fund and is an early entrant among institutional investors in real estate. Investments include traditional private real estate (brick-and-mortar assets), public and private equities (such as real estate operating companies), real estate investment trusts and real estate-related debt instruments. The real estate assets span multiple property sectors, including office, retail, residential, industrial and hospitality. GIC actively manages the assets to generate income and enhance market value through tenant management, market positioning, leasing and capital improvements. She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge in 1989 where she read Land Economy. She is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a former chair of the INREV Investor Platform and of the ICSC Diversity Steering Committee.
Dan Nicholson, Managing Director – Tishman Speyer
Dan Nicholson is responsible for leading Tishman Speyer’s business in the United Kingdom, including acquisitions, sales, development, and asset management activities. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 2011, Dan worked in private equity investing in UK operating businesses and real estate. He also led the main investment portfolio at Quintain Estates & Development Plc and was a Chartered Surveyor with Lambert Smith Hampton. He has an MA in Classics from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Property Valuation and Law from Cass Business School.
