This is the tenth successive year that CULS has held this extremely popular panel discussion on the current state of the commercial property market. The expert panel comprises experienced professionals from different sectors of the market, who will each give their views on the direction of the commercial market will take in 2018 and beyond. The seminar will consider the outlook for property in the face of a volatile political environment, shifting market fundamentals and conflicting economic signals.

Steve had great experience of the property market worldwide as Head of Global Research at Knight Frank, Director of Property Strategy & Research at Henderson and senior MD at US Company Grubb & Ellis responsible for international advisory and transaction in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. He set up his own consulting business in 2009, and in 2010 joined Roger Bell of SEGRO to form the Bell-Mallen Partnership.

Marcus Geddes, Head of Property, London Portfolio, Land Securities
Marcus Geddes is a qualified chartered surveyor with 18 years experience in the central London market. A Cambridge Land Economy graduate, he qualified and spent 13 years at Savills before joining Land Securities in 2011. Marcus is Head of Property for the London Portfolio with overall responsibility for asset, investment and operations and is a member of the London Executive Committee.
James Gulliford, Joint Head of Savills National Investment Team
James Gulliford is Joint Head of Savills National Investment team and is a member of the UK Board. James has specialised in retail investment for more than 15 years, leading teams which have traded over 150 schemes worth £5.5 billion.
Andrew Hook, Co Fund Manager, Aviva Investors Property Trust
Andrew is a fund manager within the European Retail Funds Team. In addition to his role as co fund manager for the Property Trust he is also the fund manager for the European Property Fund. Prior to joining Aviva Investors Andrew spent five years at Curzon Global Partners as an associate director in the investment strategy and research team. Prior to that he was an associate in the European acquisitions team. Andrew started his career at Donaldsons as a graduate surveyor in the valuation department. Andrew holds a post-graduate diploma in Law from Nottingham Trent University, an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Geography from the University of Oxford. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate. Andrew is also a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the RICS.
