Date & Time: | October 16, 2025 4:00 pm | Add to Calendar (.ics) |
Venue: | The Guildhall - Cambridge |
The annual Careers in Real Estate, Planning and the Environment Fair, takes place on 16th October 2025 in the Guildhall, Market Place, Cambridge, CB2 3QJ.
We welcome employers active in the real estate, planning and environment spheres. For example, we typically have representatives offering roles in surveying, property finance, law, cities advisory, town planning, management consultancy, investment, development, architecture, project management, prop-tech, ESG, the public sector and asset management. Representatives of the Cambridge University Careers Service, professional bodies and organisations promoting diversity and inclusion will also be attending.
The undergraduate Land Economy degree at Cambridge is unique. It not only provides graduates with the relevant exemptions to immediately qualify to join the RICS APC programme, but it also provides a much wider perspective by covering law, investment and finance, urban and environmental economics, town planning, resource management and sustainability. In addition, the Department of Land Economy also offers several post-graduate degrees. These include MPhils in Environmental Policy, Real Estate Finance, Planning, Growth and Regeneration, and Land Economy Research, together with a part-time MSt in Real Estate Finance. Last year, the event attracted around 300 students; predominately Land Economists but also those reading Maths, Geography, Management, Economics, IT, Engineering, Architecture and Law.
The actual Careers Fair runs from 4pm until 6pm. This will be followed by drinks and networking with alumni of the University and employers, until 7pm. It is a great opportunity for students to engage with the Real Estate industry.
