Careers Day for Architects

The careers event will be held in the School of Architecture at 1 Scroope Terrace. The afternoon will begin for students with lectures on how to apply for jobs by the University Careers Service.

The main event will start at 3pm with a series of short 5 minute/5 slide [max] presentations by major practices of current work and what they offer to new graduates and students and what they are looking for, followed by a chance to meet the students over a glass of wine and canapés. The event should be finished by 6.00pm.

The first such event last year was attended by more than a dozen practices including Allies & Morrison, BDP, Bidwells, CallisonRTKL, Foster & Partners, Gensler, Hawkins\Brown, HOK, Pick Everard, Pilbrow & Partners,  Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners, Stanton Williams & TP Bennett.

Places are limited and a small contribution would be appreciated. CULS supports teaching and students at the departments of architecture and land economy.
