Alex Jeffrey, Chief Executive – M&G Real Estate
Alex has been Chief Executive of M&G Real Estate since July 2012 and is also a Director of its parent company M&G Investments, the investment arm of Prudential Plc. M&G Real Estate is long-term income-driven investor with £21.4bn of funds under management across the UK, continental Europe, Asia and North America. Alex has broad experience in international real estate investment. Before joining M&G Real Estate, Alex was a founding shareholder and global Chief Investment Officer of MGPA, the independent private equity real estate investment advisory business, based in London and subsequently Singapore. During this time, he was involved in real estate investment and development transactions of some £5bn in the UK, continental Europe and Asia. Alex has also worked in various senior investment management and corporate finance roles at Lend Lease Corporation, JP Morgan and HSBC. In all, Alex has 27 years’ experience in real estate, investment management and finance. He has an MA (Hons) in Law from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from INSEAD and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
