The Acre is a newly completed re-development in the heart of Covent Garden, showcasing the modern retrofit of a Richard Seifert brutalist building reimagined by Gensler with an occupier focus. This property comprises of 260,000 square foot “SF” spread across 30,000 SF floor plates of Grade-A office and flagship retail accommodation, with views overlooking the low-rise West End landscape. Highly amenitized both internally and externally, the building encompasses c. 10,000 SF of common parts dedicated to the occupiers wellbeing. This event includes a tour of The Acre and a presentation by Gensler and Arup on how this once “defensive” site was reimagined to integrate with its playful Covent Garden surrounding.
Breakfast in the form of tea, coffee and pastries will be available at the beginning of the tour, kindly provided by Lali, the new café operator in the building, who is expanding their footprint from their Bruton Place site.
