DESCRIPTION:Kindly hosted by ARUP\, with support from Savills.

Join the Cambridge University Land Society for a timely discussion examining one of the most significant challenges facing the built environment: the electrification of real estate.

Bringing together perspectives from across real estate\, engineering and energy\, the panel will explore how the industry can navigate the competing demands of commercial value\, energy security and decarbonisation – and what practical action is needed now.

The discussion will focus on three key themes:

1. Value and Cost
Moving beyond defensive compliance to develop value-generating\, commercially focused sustainability strategies.

2. Security and Resilience
Future-proofing assets against geopolitical\, climate and grid vulnerabilities.

3. Decarbonisation
Exploring practical pathways towards net zero and the role electrification can play in delivering them.

Guests will enjoy breakfast refreshments\, kindly provided by ARUP.
