The Cambridge University Department of Land Economy is recognised as the leading department of its kind in the UK. It attracts the highest calibre of students, and sends them out into the world equipped to become key players in the land, and property professions.
Society members consist of graduates and undergraduates of the University of Cambridge who either studied at The Department of Land Economy, The Department of Architecture, or having studied in other fields have since moved into the Property Profession.

A professional secretariat appointed to run the administration of the Society under the direction of the Committee, has enabled the Society to add about 15 meetings per year to its traditional programme of four seasonal meetings.
