Our annual reunion lunch of Past Presidents was held on 30th November at the University Centre, Granta Place, Cambridge under the Chairmanship of Professor Alan Gillett (President 1969).
The occasion took place in the restaurant which overlooks the Mill Pond opposite Queens’ College and was a delightful setting for our meeting with the two new Professors, Phil Allmendinger and the Grosvenor Professor Colin Lizieri.
In order of seniority Past Presidents attending were Alan Gillett with his wife Patricia, Clive and Frances Coward, Derek Nicholls, David Garforth-Bles, Mike Ford, Andrew and Jill Waters and Emma Fletcher.
The two Professors replied to the Toast of “Land Economy” and a thoroughly good time was had by all! It is hoped that the next reunion will be in London for the benefit of those Past Presidents who are still working!
