Westfield London opened its doors on 30th October 2008, designed to be an innovative and dynamic place for a new generation of consumers to shop, eat and meet. The site covers 17.4 hectares (43 acres), houses 150,000 square metres of shopping space and cost £1.6bn to build.
Architecturally stunning with its undulating glass roof, Westfield London is the largest mall in Europe, with 5 anchor stores: Debenhams, Next, Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser and Waitrose and over 265 luxury, premium and high street retailers from more than 15 countries, 80% of which are fashion-focused.
The opening of Westfield London has already sparked significant debate within the property industry and CULS have been fortunate to secure two key speakers from the Senior Westfield Team who have been closely involved in the site to provide an unique insight into the development:
Duncan Bower – Development Director
Keith Mabbett – Leasing Director
Join us for a champagne reception prior to the presentation and then enjoy the remainder of the evening exploring the development for yourself.
