CULS Vice President appointed Head of Property with the Global Restructuring Group of RBS

Aubrey was CEO of Savills from 1991 until 2008, and oversaw the firm's development into a leading global property advisory business. He will retain his current non-executive directorships, including as non-executive director at British Land and Max Property Group. He said of his new role "GRG plays a fundamental role in achieving the bank's overall objectives. I am very excited by both the challenge and global scope of this role". The West Register is RBS' vehicle which acquires property from financially distressed situations and creates value with a view to exiting. The West Register portfolio is a small part of the bank's exposure to real estate and operates on a global basis. While the majority of the assets are UK-based, the West Register contains properties across Europe as well as in the US and Asia.
